The Voice Studio : Whats Happening?

April Newsletter

Adding up a few things we’ve seen at the Voice Studio in the last month, there’s quite a bit to tell!

Callum Sadler and Brooke Armstrong have been offered and accepted a place with youth music theatre and will be performing in paperboy at the lyric theatre in Belfast at end of July.
Khloe Armstrong - 7 years old sang the Belfast Girl in front of 300 people at a fundraiser last weekend.
Ana Munoz Siaz was one of 7 finalists at the Metro Radios Cash For Kids Contest at The Riverside in Newcastle.
The Voice Auditions went very well at the studio early April and 7 of our students have been asked to move to the next stage.
Abby Wilson landed a job at Lionheart Radio Station in Alnwick, in A&R.  This is good for all our students who are songwriters - They can get Abby to play their material on air.  You will find a picture of Abby at her new job in our gallery section
Brooke Armstrong gained a part in and finished filming a Short Film Musical entitled Dear Leina.  She’s singing, dancing and acting - filming is now finished.  Looking forward to hearing when we can see it.
Shaun Keelin, Jessica Irving, Kirsty Forster and hosts more of my professional singing students worked week in and week out on the north east circuit.
Ambar Dhesi did great gigs at the Head of Steam and Filthy.  She’s now being offered regular work.
Lucie Slater continues to gig every night in Dubai.
Adam Strong just came home from his guest act contract aboard ship with Fred Olson Lines.

Now that’s not bad going for one month of achievements connected with The Voice Studio, I'm proud of every single one of you! - Maggi.  xx

"As a general rule, long on the vowels short on the consonants. Open the vowel before you start to sing."
